Investor Portal
Integer provides an online investor portal (Investor Portal, and together with our other offerings, the Services) for investors to consider, invest in, and monitor the performance of investment opportunities created, managed, or administered by us or another company in the Integer group (an Integer Group Company) (each a Scheme).
Personal Information We Collect and Hold
The Company collects and holds personal information for the purpose of providing its services and products to you, and to identify you in accordance with our obligations under anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing laws (AML/CTF Laws).
The kinds of personal information that we may collect and hold include your name, date of birth, tax file number, email address, home address, phone number and bank account details, as well as certain financial information (Personal Information).
We collect and handle tax file number information in accordance with the Privacy (Tax File Number) Rule 2015, including restrictions on the use, disclosure, storage and destruction of tax file number information separate from the general requirements of the APPs.
We manage Personal Information held about investors, prospective investors, prospective employees, and visitors to our Investor Portal and Website, and comply with all privacy laws we are legally obliged to comply with, including the Privacy Act and the APPs.
How We Collect Personal Information
We collect your Personal Information in a number of ways when you use the Investor Portal or Services. These can broadly be categorised as follows:
Information that comes directly from you
This is Personal Information you enter into the Investor Portal or Services yourself, including information provided through the registration or investment process, through any contact with us (for example, telephone calls, face-to-face meetings, Investor Portal enquiry forms or emails, or use of the facilities available through our websites and social media channels), or when you otherwise use the Services. If you do not want to provide your Personal Information, you do not have to, but this may restrict the functionality of some parts of the Investor Portal or Services available to you.
Information we receive from third parties
We may receive Personal Information about you from third parties, for example:
- third parties engaged to analyse traffic on our Investor Portal, websites and social media channels, which may involve the use of cookies;
- third parties that provide security-related or identity verification services;
- in some circumstances, from another person or organisation (for example, an employment reference), including for the purposes of our compliance with AML/CTF Laws and sanctions obligations; and
- publicly available sources, including websites.
Whenever you lodge a support query using our “Help” or “Contact us” features on the Investor Portal, we collect your name and email address in order to reply to you and provide the support or advice requested.
Electronic data capture
We may use cookies, web beacons or similar technologies to collect de-identified information about your visits to our Website (Website) for the purpose of improving your browsing experience. For example, we may collect information about your operating system, browser type, pages accessed, documents downloaded, previous visits, and any referring website, including dates and times. If you disable cookies in your browser, our Website may not operate as intended.
Our online enquiry form on the Website also collects the Personal Information you enter into it. This information is used for the sole purpose of answering your enquiry.
How Personal Information is Collected and Held
The Company collects your Personal Information directly when you complete application forms or use the Investor Portal, and we may also collect data from the entities you deal with through us. Other ways we may collect your Personal Information include in person, by telephone, letter, facsimile, email or other electronic means.
The Company holds Personal Information in both physical and electronic storage facilities, including paper-based files and computer and data servers, both onsite and in the cloud. We take reasonable steps to ensure your data is held securely.
How the Company Uses and Discloses Personal Information
The Company may use and disclose Personal Information collected and held to provide financial services and products to you, and for other related and legally permitted purposes, including to:
- verify your identity;
- administer our Investor Portal, platforms, investments and other Services we provide to you;
- comply with laws, regulations, rules, directions or requests from the Company’s regulators and other government agencies;
- comply with our legal obligations, including in relation to AML/CTF Laws and taxation law (including the Privacy (Tax File Number) Rule 2015); and
- give effect to the Company’s own internal policies and procedures.
We do not use your Personal Information for direct marketing purposes.
Where it is lawful and necessary to do so, the Company may disclose your Personal Information for the purposes described above to third parties, which may include our product suppliers, contractors, professional advisers, platform operators or promoters through which you access our Services, and government agencies and regulators.
Overseas Disclosure
The Company does not engage offshore service providers, contractors or other entities for any services, and does not disclose Personal Information to recipients located outside Australia. Should this position change, we will update this Privacy Policy accordingly and take all steps required under APP 8 and the Privacy Act before any such disclosure occurs.
How the Company Protects Your Personal Information
The Company takes reasonable steps to protect the Personal Information it holds from misuse, interference and loss, and from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure, using both physical and electronic security measures.
Information transmitted to us over the internet is sent at your own risk; while we take reasonable steps to protect your Personal Information, the security of information transmitted electronically cannot be guaranteed.
The Company will not retain your Personal Information beyond the period for which it is needed for any purpose for which we may lawfully use or disclose it, unless we are otherwise required by law to retain it. Under applicable law, the Company is required to retain certain records for up to seven (7) years after you cease to be a client of the Company.
Access, Correction and Complaints
You may request access to any Personal Information the Company holds about you.
You should promptly notify the Company if you become aware that any Personal Information we hold about you is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading, so that we can correct it.
